Description
The Glebe House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 20th-century extensions added to the left in a similar style. It features red and brown brick, with a stone cornice and coping on a parapet that partially obscures the hipped plain tiled roofs, which step down to the left. There is a ridge stack on the left side of the extension and another at the left end, with a rear stack located to the left of center. The house has two storeys and a regular arrangement of windows, including four glazing bar sash windows under gauged heads on the original house to the right. An angle bay window rises through two storeys at the right end, and the extension has four glazing bar sashes across the first floor. A panelled door is located at the left end of the original range, set within a fluted Doric column portico that has a transom light above the door and is topped with a triangular pediment. At the rear right, there are two hipped roof wings, and a glazed conservatory extension is situated at the left end.
