Description

Wintersell Farm House is a house dating from the late 15th century to early 16th century. It features a timber frame set on a coursed stone plinth, with red brick cladding at the bottom and tile hanging above. The roof is steeply pitched, hipped, and plain tiled, with end gablets. There is a large rebuilt stack at the front left of the house and additional stacks at both ends. This former hall house has two storeys and five framed bays, with five sash windows on the first floor. A ribbed door is located to the left of centre, set within a gabled trellis porch that stands on brick plinth walls.

Inside, the house has crown posts supporting the end roofs, visible ceiling framing on the ground floor, and a deep brick fireplace.
