Description
The building is a barn and oasthouse, now used as a store, located 15 yards south of Stocketts Manor. It dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. The barn features a timber frame with rendered infill, while the oasthouse is constructed of coursed stone with brick dressings, both topped with plain tiled roofs; the oasthouse has a pyramidal and conical roof. The barn is rectangular with four framed bays on the right side, and it has a square granary and a circular oasthouse attached to the rear left. The structure is two storeys high, with an outshut extending from the front right. There is one leaded casement window on the return front. The oasthouse at the rear has a dentilled eaves band. Access to the barn and oasthouse is via doors located at the rear. The three buildings are linked to the main house by an open corridor supported by wooden posts, which also has a plain tiled roof.
