Description
Harlings Cottage and Bag End is a 17th-century house that has been divided into two separate residences. It features a square panel timber frame with brick infill, some of which is arranged in a diagonal pattern. The building has a plain tiled roof with a stack located to the left of the center. It stands two storeys high and consists of three framed bays with an irregular arrangement of casement windows.
The entrance to Bag End (No. 65) is a part-glazed planked door located to the right, which is sheltered by a 20th-century porch with a pentis roof. To the left of the center, Tharlings Cottage (No. 63) has a similar door. Inside, some of the timber framing is visible, and there is a deep brick fireplace with a wooden lintel in No. 63.
