Description

The garden wall to the east of The College dates from the 16th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone blocks and features a brick band with triangular stone coping. The wall stands approximately 4 feet high and extends about 26 yards in length. There is a boarded gate aligned with the center of the house. Additionally, a spur of the wall runs at right angles, enclosing the garden and includes a brick dentilled band leading to the tiled triangular coping.
