Description

The Jewell Tomb, located 1 foot north of the north chancel chapel wall of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, is a Grade II listed chest tomb dedicated to Elizabeth Jewell, who died in 1772. It is constructed of stone and sits on a moulded stone plinth. The tomb features panelled sides with baluster angle piers and has a flat lid with a moulded edge. The east end displays crude cherub heads and scroll decoration.
