Description

The garden wall located in front of and between 15 and 16 East Beach in Lytham St Annes dates from around 1845 to 1860. It is constructed from red brick and cobblestone, topped with sandstone coping. The wall is approximately 1 metre high and features a brick plinth, piers, and a band that creates long rectangular panels filled with cobbles. The coping is made of pitched stone. There is a plain gateway leading to each garden, and a partition wall between Nos 16 and 17 is similar in design. This wall is continuous with the garden wall in front of Nos 17 and 18.
