Description

Clarence Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pyramidal slate roof with blue tile hips. The building has a band course and a dentil eaves course. It is two storeys high and has a square plan with a projecting wing on the north side. The south front includes a recessed three-bay arcade. On the ground floor, there are three 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has three 9-pane sash windows. The property is complemented by an old brick garden wall with gate piers topped by sphere finials.
