Description

Clyfton House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with black pantiles. The building stands three storeys tall and has three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars set in flush frames and topped with flat brick arches. The central doorway has a six-panel raised and fielded door, flanked by slender half-engaged fluted columns, and is adorned with a fluted frieze and a modillion cornice. The eaves cornice is decorated with brick dentils. To the right of the main structure, there is a two-storey 19th-century wing.
