Description
Bulkeley Cottage is an 18th-century house located in Englefield Green. It features painted weatherboard and a hipped slate roof, and is two storeys tall. The windows consist of two-light small pane casements with narrow margins and small cornices, with two windows on the ground floor and three on the first floor. On the west end, there is a single-storey extension with a hipped slate roof and decorative barge-board. The south side has a two-storey brick extension with a tiled roof, and there is another two-storey weatherboarded extension with a tiled roof. A large chimney stack is present, and at the rear, there is a two-storey bay window that includes both sash and casement windows. Additionally, there is a later single-storey extension at the front of the house.
