Description

The Banks Tomb, located 15 yards north of the Church of St. Margaret, is a chest tomb dedicated to Sir Edwards Banks, who died in 1835. It is made of stone and features foliage carving on its curved corners. The tomb has a pedestal on top, which supports a funerary urn that is crowned above a Grecian frieze. This tomb holds group value with the Church of St. Margaret.
