Description
The stable block, located 50 yards south of Park Farm Cottage, dates from the early 19th century and was originally associated with a now-demolished farmhouse. It is constructed from knapped flint with brick quoins and dressings, topped by a hipped slate roof. The building is single-storey and features six bays, with a central clock turret that has a weatherboarded base, a four-faced clock with louvres above, and a tented lead cover topped by a compass point vane. The north front includes a blocked door on the left, 20th-century double doors in the second bay, and a three-light window to the right. The south front features a door flanked by casement windows with cambered heads. This stable block has group value with two circular storehouses located to the south and west.
