Description

This stable block, dating from around 1830, is located to the east of number 12 on Vicar Street in Wymondham. It is constructed from flint with brick dressings and features a pantiled roof. The building is one storey high and includes a hay-loft. The south-west front is symmetrical, with a central gabled bay that is slightly set forward, flanked by a carriage bay and a loose-box bay on either side. These outer bays have been converted into garages and now feature 20th-century doors. The roof is hipped, and the gable head of the central section includes a door for the hay-loft.
