Description
Nos. 1 and 3 Vicar Street are a pair of mid-18th century houses made of whitewashed flint and brick, topped with a pantile roof. They are two storeys tall. Each house features a panelled 19th-century door, flanked by a three-light casement window from the 18th century on either side, with the central iron casement opening. No. 1 has a two-light replacement casement window to the left of the door. Above the ground-floor windows, there are three-light casements on the first floor, with the three on the right being 20th-century replacements. The houses have a gabled roof with a ridge stack situated between them, and there is an outshut at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
