Description
No. 7A on Vicar Street is a late 18th-century stable that was later converted into a garage and then into an office in the late 20th century. The building features a brick rebuilding of an earlier structure, with timber studs visible on the rear wall. It has a pantile roof and late 20th-century details throughout. On the left side, there is a blocked segmentally-arched carriage door, which now has 20th-century casements. Further left is another 20th-century casement, followed by a 20th-century door and another casement. The first floor has three casements, with the right-hand pair blocking former hay-loft doors. The roof is gabled. The interior was only inspected on the ground floor, where nothing of interest remains. The building is included for its group value.
