Description
Bell Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some mid-19th century details. It is constructed of brick, which has been whitewashed on the front, and features a pantile roof. The building has a lobby entrance plan and consists of one storey with a dormer attic, arranged in three bays. The central door is panelled and is located under a gabled timber porch hood that has a bell. On either side of the door, there are two 2-light 19th century casement windows, each with hoods supported by label stops. The eaves cornice is saw-toothed, and the gabled roof has two gabled dormers fitted with casements and bargeboards. A central ridge stack is positioned over the door. The interior has not been inspected but may be of interest.
