Description

Sun Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed building located on The Street. It stands two storeys tall, with the ground floor featuring timber-framing arranged in square panels. The first floor is adorned with diamond-shaped tiles. The roof is tiled and half-hipped to the east, where there was originally an end bay for the hearth. The cottage has two casement windows and a gabled weather-porch. At the back, there is an outshut and a back parlour wing made of painted brick. This parlour wing includes a notable brooch stop on the main girder.
