Description

Motts Cottage is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building. It features tile timbering and red brick infilling that is exposed at the back. The front has been re-faced with red brick and grey headers on the ground floor, while the upper part is adorned with fishscale tiles. The building has a coved bressumer and a bellcast between the floors, along with an eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows with diamond-shaped panes. The cottage has two storeys and five windows.
