Description

The gateway to Broome Park is an 18th-century structure featuring painted stone on stone plinths and red brick quadrant flanking walls. It has square piers set on moulded plinths, which are rusticated and topped with moulded caps and pineapple finials in floral sockets. Between the piers, there are paired gates supported by spike standards that are capped with "fleur-de-lys" designs. The concave flanking walls extend outward on either side of the piers.
