Description
Street Farmhouse and Street Farm Cottage is a house that has been extended and divided. It dates from the mid-16th century, with additional ranges added in the 19th century at the rear. The building is timber framed and covered in whitewashed roughcast, featuring a hipped roof with end gablets. The 19th-century additions are constructed from brick and tile hanging. The house is two storeys high and has a front end stack to the right, along with another stack to the right of center.
Across the first floor, there are six casement windows, all adorned with hexagonal and diamond-pattern glazing tracery, while the ground floor has front windows below. The entrance to Street Farm Cottage is located to the right of center, featuring a 20th-century timber-framed, gabled, and glazed porch. There is an additional door in the left-hand return front within a pentice extension. At the rear, there is a parallel range that includes corbelled stacks and casement windows.
