Description

Greenings is a late 16th to early 17th century four-bay timber-framed house located on Beggar House Lane. It features a central smoke bay, with an additional smoke bay added at one end. The house has two storeys and attics, and while it is largely refaced with tiles—both curved and diamond—it retains its timber-framed structure. The tiled roof is adorned with three gabled dormers, and there are four casement windows, along with a gabled weather porch. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. Inside, the house contains soot-encrusted rafters over the smoke bay, jointed corner posts, internal framing, and an inglenook fireplace.
