Description
Pagewood House is a building dating from the late 15th century or early 16th century. It features a four-bay open house with a hall that has two bays and stands two storeys high. The ground floor is constructed of painted brick, while the first floor is tile hung with bands of curved tiles. The roof is hipped and tiled, with gablets. There are five casement windows and a modern hipped weather porch.
Inside, the house has a notable cruciform-shaped crown post and blackened rafters above the former open hall. At the solar end of the hall, there is a moulded dais beam. The hall floor is made of large hexagonal wooden tiles that have been cut horizontally from a tree trunk.
