Description

The Glovers, formerly known as Gloverswood, is a house originating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The front range is two storeys high, finished in pebbledash with stuccoed dressings, and features a tiled roof with a chimney stack on the left side. There are two projecting wings made from the same materials. The first floor has six mid-19th century sash windows, while the north wing includes a 17th-century timber-framed kitchen wing with exposed joists. The new entrance leads directly into the parlour wing, and the south wing, which is from the 19th century, is constructed of red brick with grey headers.
