Description

The Garden Gateway to the Old House is a notable structure located on London Road in Mickleham. It features original brick piers and engaged Ionic pilasters, with a later addition of an arch that has a shaped pediment. On either side of the gateway, there is a brick wall built on a flint base, which includes brick pilasters at intervals, a brick dentilled course, and brick coping. The wall extends approximately 15 feet to the north of the gateway and about 70 feet to the south.
