Description
Burmester House is an 18th-century house with later ground floor additions, located on London Road in Mickleham. The building has two storeys and an attic, with the original section featuring five windows and two gabled dormers. Two additional window bays have been added to the north side. The exterior is faced with flints and has red brick window dressings, quoins on both sections, a stringcourse, and a modillion eaves cornice. There is a pediment at the center of the original portion, which includes a round window in the tympanum. The roof is tiled, and the glazing bars are intact on the first floor only, while the ground floor has been built out in modern times.
