Description

Ivy Cottage and Vine Cottage are a pair of cottages dating to the late 16th and 17th centuries. The left cottage is underbuilt on a whitewashed brick and render plinth, with whitewashed brick infilling above, and a timber frame exposed to the right with whitewashed brick infilling. The roof is tiled. The cottages are two storeys high, with a rendered stack to the left and an offset stack at the right end. The left cottage has three framed bays, featuring a diagonal end brace to the first floor on the right. It has three leaded windows on both the first and ground floors, and a glazed door to the left of centre. The two-bay end chimney cottage to the right has two leaded casements on each floor. A central gabled porch has a door to the right and a window to the left. Catslide extensions are present to the rear.
