Description
Bull Lane Cottages are two cottages dating from the 16th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and have whitewashed brick infill, with the right side rendered. The cottages feature plain tiled roofs that are half hipped over a crosswing to the right, and there is a large ridge stack located to the right of the center. The buildings are two stories tall with three framed bays and have a scattered arrangement of 19th-century casement windows. On the left, there is a plank door that is partly glazed and sheltered by a corrugated plastic porch hood, while another plank door is situated to the right. The right side has a hipped front crosswing with a boarded-up window, and the cottages were noted to be in a dilapidated condition at the time of the resurvey. The left-hand return front displays exposed timber framing and features Queen post construction. Additionally, there is a weatherboard catslide extension on the right-hand return front.
