Description

The Old Post Office is a house dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth with brick infill, and has a plain tiled roof adorned with fishscale tile hanging on the left-hand gable end. The building is two storeys high and consists of four framed bays, with casement windows throughout. A 20th-century ribbed and studded door is located in a projecting brick porch to the left of the centre, leading to the lobby entrance. The right side of the building reveals an exposed crown post and corner bracing. At the rear, there is a weatherboard catslide.
