Description

Oak House is a house dating from the 16th century, with a 19th-century addition to the rear. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill at the bottom and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled, half hipped with end gablets, and there is a stack located to the left of center. The building has a T-shaped lobby entrance plan and is one storey with an attic in the gable front dormer. The dormer has 20th-century diamond pattern casements, while there are three casements across the ground floor. To the left of center, there is a plank door situated under a tile hung gabled porch hood supported by wooden posts.
