Description

Lady Grove Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with additions from the 17th and 19th centuries. The house is constructed of red brick, with tile hanging over the entrance, and has plain tiled roofs that are hipped over the cross wings. There are stacks to the left and a star-shaped stack to the right of centre. The house is two storeys high and has five bays, with a central entrance bay and cross wings projecting to each end. It has casement windows, and windows to the rear are under cambered heads. The gabled entrance bay has a central plank door in an arched porch recess. The right-hand return front features a brick plat band over the ground floor and a ground floor angle bay window under a pent roof to the rear left. The interior reveals some exposed framing.
