Description
The Cricketers Arms is a public house that dates from the late 16th century and 17th century, with extensions added in the 19th century and to the rear in the 20th century. It features a timber frame clad in whitewashed roughcast and has graded Horsham slab roofs, with plain tiled roofs over the right-hand extensions and brick additions at the rear. The original T-shaped plan includes a gabled cross wing that has been moved to the center. The building is two stories high, with a stack located at the rear left of center.
On the first floor, there is one 3-light leaded casement window and one 16-pane glazing-bar sash window on the left side, while the ground floor has one 4-light leaded casement window. To the right, there is one window in the gable on the first floor and one 3-light window on each floor. The entrance features half-glazed doors to the left and left of center, with the door to the left of center sheltered by a shallow open gabled hood. Additionally, there is a ribbed door at the base of the gabled bay. The left-hand return front has a tile-hung gable end.
