Description
Blank's Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is timber framed, with the rear exposed and whitewashed render infilling, while the front is clad in whitewashed brick. The roof is plain tiled and hipped to the right. The house has two storeys, featuring a double stack chimney to the left of center and end stacks to the right. On the first floor of the original range, there are three 3-light windows and one chimney window. The ground floor has two 5-light windows with cambered heads. To the left, there is a one-bay extension from the 1930s, and to the right, a ribbed pentice roof extension with one window on each floor. The door, located to the left of center, leads to a lobby entry and is set within a gabled porch. The rear of the house displays irregular fenestration and tension bracing on the first floor.
