Description
Pound Farm House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The front is incised and colourwashed stucco, while the rear and return fronts are colourwashed brick, all topped with hipped, plain tiled roofs. The house has two storeys set on a plinth, featuring brick dentilled eaves at the rear. There is an end stack on the right side. The symmetrical front includes three shuttered, single-pane sash windows with cambered heads on the first floor, and two segmental head windows below. A central panelled door is located under a transom light and is sheltered by a flat-roofed porch, which is flanked by Doric columns on pedestals surrounding the arched entrance.
