Description
Hill Place Farm House is a 17th-century house with an 18th-century facade. The structure is timber-framed with red brick infill to the rear and red and blue brick cladding to the front. The roof is tiled, and there are end ridge stacks. The front elevation is regular, featuring two diamond-pane, leaded casement windows on the first floor, each with a cambered brick head. There are two windows below. A central, panelled, stable-style door is present, with the top two panels glazed and protected by a gabled, open porch. A wing projects at a right angle from the left end of the main house; this wing is whitewashed brick with a plat band over the ground floor and a projecting window on the first floor. At the rear is a catslide extension. The interior retains some visible timber framing.
