Description
Wildfields Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It features a rendered brick plinth and roughcast above, topped with a hipped plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has an end stack on the right side. The front of the house is regular, with three 16-pane glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads on the first floor and two similar windows on the ground floor, which are fitted with "Venetian" shutters. A central door, framed by a moulded wood surround, is located under a flat hood and accessed by a flight of four steps with iron railings. At the rear, there is a parallel range with additional pentice roof additions. The farmhouse was undergoing restoration at the time of the last survey.
