Fairlands Farmhouse 5/147 14.6.67 II

House. Late C16 early C17 core, refronted and extended in 1735. Dated in pediment over main front. Timber framed core, exposed with whitewashed brick infill on left hand returnf ront to rear. Rendered and whitewashed brick cladding to front. Plain tiled roofs, hipped to front. Entrance front: 2 storeys on rendered plinth lwith cornice and parapet, central gable/pediment and rusticated quoins to end. Rear ridge stack to right, further ridge stack to left and main ridge stack to right hand return front. 4 sash windows on first floor under gauged brick heads, now painted over, 3 windows below. Door to right of centre in gabled and bargeboarded porch on brick dado walls, rendered and part glazed above. Single storey buttressed wing set back and extending to left.

Right hand return front: former entrance front. Plinth and end piers with plat band over ground floor. Six sash windows across first floor 5 below with square bay, glazed in former entrance.
