Description
Cheverells Farm House is a house with a core dating from the 16th century, featuring remodelling from the 18th century and additions from the 19th century. It has a timber frame with brick cladding and flint on the left end wall, while the right side is rendered and has tile hanging above. The roofs are plain tiled, with a half-hipped design on the left and a raised, hipped design on the right. There are end stacks on the left and at the rear right. The house has two storeys, with a gable front wing that projects to the left and a 19th-century range to the right. On the first floor of the right-hand range, there are two sash windows, and the left wing features one casement window with a cambered head. To the right, there is a half-glazed planked door in a porch with a pentice roof, made of corrugated plastic and glass on brick walls. Another door is located at the angle of the left wing, also in a half-glazed porch with a pentice roof. The rear of the house is tile hung.
