Description
The wash house located at the rear of Botley Hill Cottages is a mid-19th century structure. It is built from flint rubble with brick quoins at both ends and features a plain tiled roof that has ridge moulding and a central ridge stack at the rear. The building is single-storey and has small casement windows on either side of the center. There are planked doors at both ends, which are set beneath cambered heads. This wash house is included for its group value with the nearby Botley Hill Cottages.
