Description
This is a washhouse located approximately 2 meters north of Burton Hill Farmhouse, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is made of white-painted coursed rubble with quoins and has a graduated slate roof. It is a small rectangular building oriented on a north-south axis and faces east. The washhouse is a single storey, featuring a square-headed doorway on the left, a square 9-pane fixed window, and a square chimney on the north gable. It is part of a group that includes Burton Hill Farmhouse and a barn to the northeast. The interior has not been inspected. It was previously referred to as "washhouse to west."
