Description

No. 32 Chertsey Street is a house that has been converted into a shop on the ground floor with an office above. It dates from the early 18th century and features a timber frame covered in white-washed render on the first floor. The building has a plain tiled roof with deep eaves and stands two storeys high, with rendered end ridge stacks and an additional stack to the left of the centre.

On the first floor, there are three 12-pane glazing-bar sash windows, which have open sash boxes. The ground floor has two plate glass shop fronts, with a glazed door located to the left of centre in a recess. To the right, there is a flush panelled door beneath a blocked and pointed fanlight.
