Description
This barn, located 60 yards east of Whipley Manor, dates from the mid-18th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding above and a plain tiled half-hipped roof. The structure is rectangular and consists of five framed bays. It has central wagon doors that face each other, with one set at the rear under a hipped roof projection. There is also a pentice extension at the front. Inside, the barn has Queen-post and Queen-strut roof trusses. It is included in the listing for its group value only.
