Description

This barn, located 5 yards to the west of Mellersh Farm House, dates from the early 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding and a half-hipped plain tiled roof. The barn is rectangular in shape and consists of six bays, with opposing full-height doors positioned to the right of the center, beneath a hipped roof projection at the rear.

Inside, the barn has slightly jowled posts that are braced, a queen-strut roof, and floored end bays on the right. The wall frames include diagonal bracing. This structure is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farm house.
