Description

This barn, located 10 yards northeast of Great Westwood, dates back to the 16th century and was restored in 1968. It features a timber frame with brick underbuilding and weatherboard cladding above, topped with a plain tiled roof that is half hipped at the ends. The barn is positioned at right angles to the road and has a rectangular shape with six framed bays. The posts are exposed on the ground floor and buttressed on the south side. There are double garage doors at the south end, and a floor was inserted during the restoration. This building is included for its group value only.
