House, now divided. Mid C16 cottage to right, extended to left in early C18, further extended left in mid C18, remodelled and extended again in C19. Timber framed to right, underbuilt in whitewashed brick, tile hung above. Rendered plinth with colour washed stucco on brick on the main house; plain tiled roofs, hipped, and part obscured by parapets on the main range; lower to right end over old cottage. Old Cottage: T shaped plan with gabled cross wing to right end, larger, rectangular block to left. Two storeys with stack to front and rear. Two casement windows on first floor. Planked door to ground floor left. Right hand return front: exposed frame with queen-strut gabled construction. Two gabled dormers behind. Main Range: Three storeys. Octagonal stacks on plinth across roof ridge to left, left of centre and right. Three bays with central angle bay projecting between angle pilaster piers. Cornice to base of parapet over second floor, parapet panelled over central angled bay. Five 9-pane glazing bar sash windows across first and second floor, three in angle bay with tripartite window to first floor right. Four 12-pane glazing bar sash windows across ground floor, tripartite window to left. Three quarter glazed door in flanking lights to ground right. Two storeyed projecting buttressed flat roof porch to right end with further double doors to ground floor, glazed with "Gothick" tracery under arched two light first floor window. Two bay range set back to left with double casement doors and iron balcony on first floor. Panelled door below under fringed hood. Left Hand return front: Angle bay with Regency style tent roof porch on thin columns across the ground floor.
