Description

Longer End Cottage is a late 16th-century cottage, restored in the 20th century. It is timber framed with brick infilling, and has plain tiled roofs, with a half-hipped profile to the ends. The cottage is positioned at a right angle to the street and features a plinth, an end stack to the left side, and a triple ridge stack to the rear, slightly right of centre. The windows are irregular casements with leaded lights; four windows are located across the first floor and four below. A planked door is situated on the right-hand return front, accessed via a gabled porch. There is an extension to the left end and a catslide roof across the rear.
