Description

Weavers is a house that was formerly a set of cottages, dating from the 16th century, with parts from the 17th century. The entrance front is now located at the rear. The building features a timber frame that is exposed, with a red and brown brick underbuild on the left side, brick infilling above to the left and center, and tile hanging on the right side. The rear has whitewashed infilling and cladding. The roofs are plain tiled and date from the 20th century.

The house is two storeys tall, with the central range stepping up. On the left, there is a three-bay cottage that has a large corbelled multiple stack at the junction with the central three-bay range. To the right, there is a lower three-bay range with raised eaves and an additional offset stack at the right end. The left side has one first-floor window and one ground-floor window in a 1960s extension below. The central range features two diamond-pane windows on the first floor and two ground-floor windows. There is a glazed door in a gabled open porch to the left of the center.

The single-storey range to the right has one diamond-pane window under a drip-board to the left and another window to the right. There is a planked door under a pentice porch to the left of the center. The left-hand return front is tile hung and has one three-light window above three ground-floor windows, with a wooden canopy over the first-floor window. The rear, which is now the entrance front, has a catslide roof to the right with a mix of diamond-pane and plain windows. There are two first-floor and two ground-floor windows, along with tension bracing on the first floor.
