Description

Orchard Cottage is an early 17th-century cottage with 20th-century extensions to the left. It is constructed with a square panel timber frame, incorporating whitewashed brick infilling, and with red/brown brick and weatherboard extensions. The roof is tiled, half-hipped over the extension, and steps down to the left, above the extensions. A stack is located at the right end of the extension, with a pentice to the right. The front features two ground floor leaded casement windows, and a further window within the pentice. A gable end window is visible on the left-hand return front. A door is set into a single-storey extension to the left.
