Description
This building is a barn and stable located 50 yards south of Rails Farm House. It dates from the 18th century, with 19th-century extensions at both ends. The structure is timber framed on a brick base and features weatherboard cladding, topped with plain tiled, half-hipped roofs. There is a single-storey extension to the right that forms an L shape with the barn. The barn consists of three framed bays and has central opposing double doors. To the left, there is a stable door, and to the right, there are three stable doors arranged in a row.
Inside the barn, there is a Queen-strut, clasped purlin roof with diagonal wind bracing. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
