Former Inn and Post Office, now shop. Late C16/early C17 with early C20 shop front below and C19 extensions to rear right. Timber framed, clad in colourwashed render above with wooden shop front below; red/brown brick extension to right. Plain tiled roofs over. Double gable-end ranges facing the High Street with extensions at right angles forming L-plan on corner site. Three storeys with main stacks to rear of gables. One 2-light casement window on the second floor of each gable; round bow window between the gables with a further casement window flanking. Two hip-roofed square oriel windows on the first floor, each of 3 front lights and two lights to sides. Plate glass shop fronts below with wooden fascias and door to right. Right hand return front:- Irregular arrangement of sash windows under gauged brick heads, six windows on first and second floors, shop front across ground floor. Interior:- C16/C17 brick fireplace in first floor room, original panelling may survive under later cladding.
