Description

The walled garden located to the rear and left of Jordans dates from the late 18th century. It features sandstone rubble walls, which are complemented by brick angle quoins and dressings, as well as a brick coping. The walls stand approximately 10 feet high and include a tiled pentice course at a height of 6 feet, with the wall set back above this level. The garden is laid out in a rectangular shape, measuring about 30 yards by 40 yards. This structure is included in the listing for its group value context.
